Recent activities of BRDB, Meherpur district

1. Recurring (Agriculture) Loan Program:

Provide loan assistance for the formation of farmers' cooperative societies with rural farmers through upazilas, creation of their capital, self-employment in agriculture and non-agriculture sector.

2. Integrated Poverty Alleviation Program (Eternal):

Provide loan assistance for formation of teams through upazilas, creation of their capital, self-employment in agriculture and non-agriculture sectors.

3. Rural Progress Project:

Provide loan assistance for formation of teams through upazilas, creation of their capital, self-employment in agriculture and non-agriculture sectors.

4. Veteran Freedom Fighter and Pedestrian Training and Self-Employment Program:

Provide training and loan assistance for the employment of heroic freedom fighters and their dependents through the upazila.

5. Integrated Rural Employment Support Scheme for Poor Women (ERESPO):

Formation of teams / associations, creation of capital and provision of loan assistance to poor women in rural areas through self-employment through upazilas.

6. Rural Livelihood Project:

Provide loan assistance for formation of teams through upazilas, creation of their capital, self-employment in agriculture and non-agriculture sectors.

7. Participatory Rural Development Project-3 (PRDP-3):

The paving of village roads and drainage and other developmental activities were carried out jointly with the people of the village.

8. Women's Development Section:

To provide information on formation of teams / associations, creation of capital and provision of loan assistance for the purpose of creating self-employment for poor women in rural areas.
